Saphira Eco
Thermal Plate PN 101

One plate for all. The Saphira® Thermal Plate PN 101 from Heidelberg® is an outstanding plate that supports a wide range of applications. It can be used without baking for runs up to 400,0001 prints with standard inks and for runs up to 150,0001 prints with UV inks. Screen rulings of 250 lpi or up to 20 μm with Prinect® Stochastic Screening ensure prints of exceptional quality.

Details

Maximum plate throughput. The plate’s low energy requirements allow maximum plate output per hour. Its excellent resolution enables the possibilities of FM and Hybrid screening to be harnessed to the full.

The two-layer coating technology of the Saphira Thermal Plate PN 101 enables use of a wide range of dampening and wash-up solutions, as is required for alcohol-free or alcohol-reduced printing or printing with UV inks.

Features:

  • Positive-working and non-ablative thermal plate for commercial and packaging applications
  • Straightforward processing in normal white-light conditions
  • Run length without baking up to 400,0001 prints
  • UV inks: run length of up to 150,0001, without baking
  • Storage conditions: 4–25 °C, < 70 % relative humidity

Benefits:

  • High productivity as a result of very high sensitivity
  • Outstanding print behavior, even for alcohol-free printing
  • Excellent plate contrast
  • Use of UV-inks without baking
