Encapsulator for application of polyester, polypropylene and nylon film in 75 micron (3 mil), 125 micron (5 mil), and 250 micron (10 mil) thickness.

Details

Encapsulator

  • 25mm (1") thick steel side plates with 150mm (6") x 75mm (3") steel support beams.
  • 300mm (12") diameter pre-heat rollers and 300mm (12") water chilled rollers.
  • Servo driven sheet correctional device dictates precise gap between sheets.
  • Film is mounted on a quick change air shaft which is micro adjustable laterally along with side slitters and an edge trim chipper which collects waste and expells it through a 100mm (4") pipe to an outside waste skip.
  • Pneumatic clutch ensures precise film tension.
  • Application of polyester, polypropylene and nylon film in 75 micron (3 mil), 125 micron (5 mil), and 250 micron (10 mil) thickness.
  • Swiss made water heater and water chiller.

 

Feeder

  • Rising pile back separation stream feeder with a servo driven Heidelberg Speedmaster 52 feed head.
  • Sheets are fed down an angled feed table with a micro-adjustable side-lay and up to a servo driven sheet correctional device.
  • The feed head is processor controlled.
  • The feeder is fitted with a mill skid plate, allowing a full pallet of print to be loaded directly from the printing press.


Cross-Cutter (CC 76)

  • Servo driven in-feed rollers and servo driven cross-cutters for sheet seperation.
  • The accuracy of the feeder allows for a single cross cut.
  • Delivery onto a shingle table for collection in a vibrating jogger.

 

Electronics

  • Siemens sinamics and simotion electronics, using a remote diagnostics facility.
